WHO WE ARE
Alfred Groves & Sons Ltd is a family owned business in Milton-under-Wychwood established in 1660
Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of the Cotswolds between Burford and Chipping Norton our architecturally rich yard comprises of around 40 diverse individual traders and businesses. Builders, beauticians, bakers and joiners work alongside our large well equipped DIY shop to meet the needs of the Wychwood community. Come and enjoy our cafes, French interiors shop and meet the craftsmen and artists who set this place apart!

Often referred to as the Aladdin’s cave, Groves Shop bursts with around 9000 products making it a large playground for any maker who is looking to turn their hands to any size project. We are so pleased to have Sophie joining Jane on a Wednesday afternoon 2-3pm, selling her healthy eggs from happy hens roaming freely. Their diet is grown locally too by grains from Matthew Izod @matthewizod and the NE Cotswold Farming Cluster @necotscluster

Emma Maiden ⚒️
Quietly tapping away at the top of our yard we house @emmamaidensculpt who turns stone into art. Working in different materials like marble, bronze and stone Emma creates the most stunning, smooth and rounded sculptures of animals and people.
And we are fortunate to be able to learn from Emma as she holds stone carving classes every Tuesday and Wednesday. Pick up one of her flyers from Groves shop or pop over to her page to see more of her wonderful work.

The Beauty & Aesthetics Room
@_chloelouisebeauty_ & @beautyinkslimited are merging to form @the_beautyandaestheticsroom.
These two girls, each specialists in their own field, will complement each other and provide the community with a wide range of treatments.
Their new premises are just outside Groves Yard across from the Green, so fear not!! You can still combine your beauty treatments with a bite to eat, lovely barista coffees, pizzas, shopping, craft beer, a glass of wine and all the other experiences we have on offer in the yard.

We are in for such a treat next week 🍷🥂🍾 with the first wine tasting event @fireandwineuk.
